The Governor of Chanthaburi Province Launches the Project “Social Security Cares for Drivers, Promoting Unity in Celebration of the Princess’s 60th Birthday” and Receives a Lighting Donation
On October 30, 2015, Mr. Somsak Parisuttho Hemtanont, the Governor of Chanthaburi Province, presided over the opening ceremony of the “Social Security Cares for Drivers, Promoting Unity in Celebration of the 60th Birthday of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn” for the year 2015.
During the event, he also received a donation of lighting equipment from Mr. Liu Pin Er, Chairman of Sunshine International Co., Ltd., valued at 346,736 baht.
Additionally, experts from the Chanthaburi Provincial Transport Office, the Tha Mai District Police, the Road Accident Victim Protection Co., Ltd., and the Chanthaburi Social Security Office were assigned to conduct training sessions. The sessions aimed to raise awareness, promote safety consciousness, and encourage public participation in reducing the number of injuries, disabilities, and fatalities caused by road accidents.
This initiative aligns with the governor’s policy to cultivate a culture of safety in the province.
